The entry deadline for the 2008 IMA Awards has now passed, however if you are interested in entering the 2009 Awards below is a summary of the categories. If you would like to be notified when we launch the call for entries next year, please email your contact details to: ima.awards@centaur.co.uk
There are three groups of categories within the IMA Awards that you can enter.
The first is for vertical market sectors such as 'Finance' and 'Automotive'. These categories are for marketing and advertising campaigns using any interactive technologies to promote products and services in these sectors. So the 'Technology' category, for example, is for campaigns promoting technology products and services.
The second group is for the best use of particular platforms or technologies to market products and services from any sector. The winner in each of these categories will be the campaign that demonstrates the most imaginative, innovative and successful use of the particular medium, using the unique qualities of the medium to maximum effect.
The third group are the special categories. These are for the Creative and Media Agencies of the Year, and the ‘Special Award for Technological Innovation’. The 'Special Award' recognises campaigns that are technologically innovative, but which have not been running long enough to generate significant results.
Finally there is the Grand Prix. The Grand Prix winner is chosen from the winners of the other categories (excluding Special Award for Technological Innovation, Creative Agency of the Year and Media Agency of the Year), and therefore this category cannot be entered directly.
